Wind Energy

Wind Energy is the world’s fastest growing energy technology, with more than 6,300 megawatts (MW) of wind-generating capacity in the U.S.  Because of its consistent wind flow and beneficial topography, the Texas Panhandle is one of the richest regions in the country for the development and generation of Wind Energy.

Landowners, developers, and current electrical energy generators and transmission companies will have huge vested interests in aggressive legal representation as this industry grows and matures in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas.  Our attorneys have substantial experience in advising landowners and developers on the various legal implications of leases and easements relating to proposed and existing Wind Energy facilities.  Our attorneys also have assisted groups of landowners who joined forces to combine thousands of acres of land for possible Wind Energy Development. Finally, because of our extensive experience in real estate representation in general, our attorneys are well-suited to provide any needed legal assistance to landowners and others as the State of Texas fine-tunes the proposed location of transmission lines and the final construction and operation of those lines.
